My review of the Partagas Valle Verde , please make a corona or lancero

Partagas Valle Verde Toro and Robusto are both good. I tried it for the first time last year while on a work trip to DC. I'll admit that leading up to this experience, I didn’t bother with the brand much outside of the occasional vintage Benji and Cuban Partagas No.2

Both vitolas smoked great, with the only difference being that it was a more extended pleasure with the bigger size (queue jokes). They also offer a box press and double corona. Partagas and General Cigar Co., please make this in a lancero.

As seen in the photos below, construction was consistent in EVERY cigar in the box. READ THAT AGAIN…. For a cigar that can be had for 7 dollars most of the time.

For a 7 dollar cigar, it was complex. Pre-light draw or "cold draw" for fancy influencers was literally tobacco and nuts. I took a good retrohale twice while smoking it. It wasn’t harsh; Some spice and nuttiness dominated the retrohale. Under normal circumstances, while drinking my usual coffee with no sugar and water, I consistently got earthiness, tobacco, some mild nuances of coffee, and nuttiness (before I sipped the coffee, lol). The ash was solid each time; it broke off after a good inch, and the cigar never burned hot. Overall, I wouldn't be mad if this cigar were to receive a high rating in one of the major publications.

Anyway, the description below is from the internet.

***The first Partagas cigar to wear a Mexican San Andrés wrapper leaf, the Valle Verde introduces an enticing earthy-sweet profile to the storied brand's portfolio.

The Valle Verde (Green Valley) takes its name from the volcanic soils of Veracruz, where its exceptional wrapper leaves are grown. These shining wrappers, along with vintage 2015 shade-grown Cameroon binders and a filler blend consisting of Mexican San Andrés, Nicaraguan Jalapa, and Esteli Ligero tobaccos harvested in 2020, create a captivating profile that's loaded with hearty nuance. Tones of deep earth, bold pepper, sugar cane, and natural cacao unfold throughout the Valle Verde's crisp burn performance. Grab your batch here at the lowest prices now.***
